Our Philosophy
We believe:

• Parenting is the most important job that people have.
• It is also one of the most difficult and challenging as well as rewarding and enriching of life’s experiences.
• There are no perfect parents. All parents deserve credit for their efforts to raise their children well and they are doing the best job they can in their parenting.
• Healthy parenting can be learned and it is never too late to make changes that will build your child’s self-esteem and your relationship with your child.
• All families are unique and benefit from making their own parenting decisions.
• All parents can benefit from parenting education and support programs.

The Center for Parenting Education is a 501 (C)3 designated non-profit organization. Much of the work done to ensure the on-going functioning of the organization is done on a volunteer basis by the Parenting Educators and community volunteers.
